Tranquil Spirit, located in Bear, Delaware, is a 'Sanctuary' where you can relax, unwind, and nurture your body, mind, and spirit. The varied and well-rounded services are offered in a spacious light-filled studio nestled in a beautiful wooded setting with fountains, plants, and relaxing music.
Stress and tension quickly dissolve as this serene environment surrounds each client with a sense of peace as soon as they step through the door.
In addition to this unique and tranquil atmosphere for massage, there is a gift shop filled with books, music, jewelry, gemstones, crystals, and much more. There is also private parking adjacent to the studio. Workshops and classes for self-development, healing, and spiritual growth are also offered here at Tranquil Spirit.
Meet Kathy Schauber, LMT, RM
Kathy Schauber is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, Holy Fire Reiki Master, and the owner of Tranquil Spirit. Kathy has been interested in natural healing therapies for over 30 years because of debilitating health conditions for which traditional medicine had no answers. Ever since, she has been on a path of self-healing, self-development, and spiritual growth. Now, she seeks to share her knowledge and experiences with others to assist them on their own journeys. She is an avid bodybuilder, believing that not only do we need strength physically, but also internal strength; strength of mind; strength of character; and strength of spirit. It is her belief that the body has the innate ability to heal itself, and that all healing is self-healing. Kathy works intuitively to bring the body back into balance. Bodywork is her passion and she seeks to connect heart and soul with her clients and students.

POLICIES
Cancellation, Deposits and Discounts
24-hour Cancellation Policy: In order to serve my clients to the best of my ability, 24-hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. If 24 hours' notice is not given, the full amount of the amount is expected. I only see 2 clients per day and it is necessary to avoid last-minute cancellations. I give my clients my absolute best in attention, quality of care, and intention. If a 24-hour cancellation notice is not given for prepaid sessions and gift certificate appointments, the session is forfeited.
Deposits: Deposits for classes are non-refundable. If I have to cancel the class for some reason, that would be an exception. Any deposit given would applied to a future class.
Prepayment Discounts: I offer a 10% discount for prepayment of 10 or more sessions. That includes massage and bodywork, footbaths, and crystal light bed sessions. It is a wonderful way to save some money on your self-care. Any prepayment for sessions is non-refundable. You may share your prepaid sessions with family members if you so desire.
All sessions are therapeutic in nature. There is absolutely zero tolerance for sexual solicitation, sexual behavior or remarks.
